Muffler & Exhaust / Oil Change turns to a Big Prob...
Last post by Hornsman - Mar 18, 2025, 07:59 PM
I recently took my 2006 Infiniti QX56 in for an oil change at a local service center. The appointment went smoothly, and I expected to leave with my vehicle in top shape. However, shortly after driving away, I noticed a loud, unsettling noise coming from the muffler.

Concerned, I returned to the shop and informed them about the issue. The technicians examined the vehicle but claimed they couldn't determine what had caused the noise. This left me feeling frustrated and confused, as I hadn't experienced any problems with the muffler prior to the service. What should I do?

BMW / The Surprising Truth About Oil...
Last post by Hornsman - Mar 13, 2025, 10:42 AM
I recently changed the engine oil in my 2012 BMW, doing so just a month before winter set in. After the oil change, I only drove the car for about 600 kilometers.

Now that winter is coming to an end, I took my car to the BMW dealership for a routine check-up. To my surprise, they informed me that I would need another oil change .

This revelation left me puzzled. How could the oil possibly require changing after such a short distance?

Nissan / Could A Simple Coolant Issue C...
Last post by Hornsman - Mar 13, 2025, 10:35 AM
Yesterday, I attempted to drive my 2011 Nissan Versa, but to my surprise, the car wouldn't move despite starting up without any issues.

Feeling puzzled, I decided to ask my neighbor for some assistance. After a quick inspection, he informed me that the vehicle was low on coolant.

This revelation left me in disbelief.
Now, I'm heading out to purchase some coolant to hopefully resolve the issue.

I can't help but wonder if this could be the problem. Any inputs?

Infiniti / double exhaust pipes & Plugged...
Last post by Hornsman - Mar 12, 2025, 11:01 AM
Two days ago, as I exited the bustling mall, something caught my eye that left me puzzled. Parked nearby was an Infiniti vehicle, notable for its sleek design and sporty appearance. What struck me as unusual was the sight of its double exhaust pipes, typically a hallmark of traditional gasoline engines.

To my surprise, the car was plugged into an electric charging station. This contradiction sparked my curiosity. Is this what is called a hybrid ?

As a new car owner, navigating the maintenance requirements can feel quite overwhelming. A mechanic recently advised me on several essential services, including changing the power steering fluid and flushing the cooling system every year. Additionally, I was told to rotate my tires annually and flush the brake system as well.

These recommendations made me question if all these tasks are truly necessary each year. I want to ensure my vehicle runs smoothly without breaking the bank or overdoing it with maintenance. Are all these true?

I left my car at the Walmart parking lot for the night and that was it.
The catalytic Converter cut off from my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. Could I get it replaced by my insurance?

Once, a car enthusiast named Dave decided to fix his aging sedan by himself. He thought he could save some money and impress his friends with his newfound mechanical sk*lls. So, he turned to a popular car repair forum for advice.

Dave posted a question titled, "How do I fix a mysterious rattling noise?" In his post, he humorously described the sound as resembling "a raccoon having a dance party in the trunk." The replies came flooding in, ranging from helpful tips to outrageous suggestions.

One user jokingly recommended that Dave should "feed the raccoon some snacks" to calm it down. Another suggested he simply start playing loud music, claiming that might drown out the noise.

Amidst the hilarity, a seasoned mechanic chimed in with genuine advice about checking loose bolts. Following this, Dave realized he had accidentally left a toolbox in the trunk, which was causing all the ruckus!

In the end, he not only fixed his car but also ended up with a hilarious story to share at the next barbecue. His friends still tease him about the "raccoon party" every time they see his sedan.

General News & Events / Tariffs will hurt consumers mo...
Last post by Admin11 - Mar 08, 2025, 08:25 PM
The tariffs are on all imports for cars and parts from the specific Countries as at whim decided by the President.
Even American made cars will increase, since many parts of a car are imported from countries on the Tariff applied list.
Less people will buy a new car and delay purchases, therefore Car plants will reduce capacity, with less sales, then reduce employees, and it will create a vicious circle, hitting the economy for all consumers.
Parts needed for repairs will become more difficult to find, therefore will also increase in price.

Unless you are a Billionaire of the inner circle, then you don't care.
